When a scientist realizes his latest experiment will annihilate the Earth, he is forced to reconnect with the daughter
he ignored for the past twenty years, all the while trying to stop the inevitable.

The Earth is soiled with chemical and atomic waste, but Nobel physicist Nathan Gallagher may have found a cure by mastering the powers of anti-matter in his high-tech lab.

When his creation starts accreting matter in a way he can't control, he is forced to look for outside expertise before it is too late.

His daughter, Susan,
who he has ignored for the past twenty years,
is also a brilliant scientist, but is bitter for having been overlooked too often in a traditionally male-dominated field.

It will take the pair more than brain power to contain the vortex and they'll have to open up to each other if they want a chance to stay alive and save our planet from destruction.
